Sports Marketing Australia was formed in 2002 when the founding directors combined their wealth of knowledge and relationships in the sports marketing and entertainment industry to successfully secure and implement a number of commercially driven projects and events.
The companies strategic vision was based on the philosophical change in the sports and entertainment industry that revolved around the emergence of taking events out of capital cities and into regional Australia.
The success of the company lays with the strong relationships within sporting organizations, government, venues, broadcasters and the commercial sector.
Our vision is to work with the event owner, government, sponsors and event host to secure and deliver major sports and entertainment events, using sound commercial and operational strategies.
In addition, SMA is the exclusive sales agent for the following products:
- Ticket Direct - NZ's highest selling ticketing provider
- SMA Tech - on-line sports registration and administration system
One of the key value adding components within SMA, is its relationship with ISTV Marketing Pty Ltd, who secures and negotiates broadcast rights arrangements for a number of sports and entertainment properties around the world.
SMA can manage the media for any event or tour and has a very experienced journalist on staff that can arrange media alerts, interviews and advice appropriate advertising schedules.
